Studio Hire Prices

Standard Studio Hire

Standard studio hire is intended for experienced photographers, filmmakers and production teams who are able to operate independently.

Minimum three-hour booking: £210

Half day—up to four hours: £275

Full day—8:30am to 5:00pm: £475

Additional time: £70 per hour

Media25 Studio is not VAT registered, so VAT is not added to these prices.

Standard studio hire includes access to the studio, the white infinity cove and reasonable use of the standard house lighting and studio equipment agreed when the booking is made.

An initial studio and equipment orientation is included. Continuous technical assistance, camera operation, photography and production services are not included in standard studio hire.

Assisted Studio Hire

Assisted studio hire is available when you need practical help setting up and adjusting lighting, backgrounds and studio equipment throughout the booking.

Assisted half day—up to four hours: £425

Assisted full day—8:30am to 5:00pm: £725

Additional technical assistance: £65 per hour

Assisted hire includes Tim Nathan’s practical support with the studio, lighting and agreed equipment. It does not include Tim working as the commissioned photographer, camera operator, director or sound recordist.

Photography, filming and complete production services can be quoted separately.

Please tell us what you are planning to shoot when enquiring. We will confirm which facilities and equipment are suitable and what is included in your quotation.

Cameras, Lenses and Specialist Equipment

A selection of cameras, lenses, lighting, sound equipment and production accessories is available by prior arrangement.

Specialist equipment is not automatically included in ordinary studio hire. Any additional equipment requirements will be agreed and itemised before the booking.

You are also welcome to bring your own cameras, lighting and production equipment, subject to normal safety requirements.

Photography and Video Production

Media25 is more than an empty studio space.

Professional photography, filming, lighting, sound recording, camera operation, creative direction and post-production are available for clients who need a complete production service.

These services include:

Editing and post-production

Production services are quoted separately according to the crew, equipment, preparation, recording time and finished material required.

Additional Charges

Some bookings may require additional charges.

These may include:

• Evening and weekend bookings: add 20%
• Additional studio time: £70 per hour
• Additional technical assistance: £65 per hour
• Infinity-cove repainting: from £65
• Chroma-key preparation: from £50
• Specialist cameras, lenses, lighting or sound equipment
• Paper background usage
• Set construction and materials
• Additional crew or assistants
• Excessive cleaning or damage
• Delivery, collection or equipment transport

Any foreseeable additional charges will be discussed before the booking is confirmed.

Booking Times

A standard full studio day runs from 8:30am until 5:00pm.

A half-day booking provides up to four consecutive hours at an agreed time.

The booked period must include your arrival, setup, production, dismantling and departure. Additional time is charged at the published hourly rate.

Earlier starts, later finishes and weekend bookings may be available by prior arrangement.
